Finally!!! ahem.

Finally some pictures. I had a half day off, and decided to finally post! I had tried before, but Blogger doesn't really have decent means for posting a gallery, and doing the one by one* thing didn't do it for me. Let me know how you like this album format by posting comments.

The secrets of Apus-Crapus revealed! :)

There has been some buzz in the comments area about the "politically correct" method for logging a comment.

It's pretty easy actually, you have 3 choices for choosing your identity when posting a comment:

Blogger - use this only if you have a blogger account. (which you likely don't - you know who you are... ;)

Other - when you click this, it lets you enter a name and an optional web site. This is really the option that you should use if you wanted to enter a name, such as, um "Elvis" or "Dad" or "Mom" etc...

Anonymous - Luckily we can make guesses based on regional lingo as to whom might be the phantom poster, but*- it would be cool if you used the "other" option and entered a name!

*(and a big but it is... um, nevermind.)

Anyway, that's all for now! Tune in next time for another episode of "The secrets of..." when we reveal the secrets of Soylent Green.

Alright, alright.

I've gotten some flack from y'all about the lack of posts on here. So, here is a post.

Anyway, a lot has gone on in the past couple weeks. Our sister/auntie Cinnamon brought out a puppy for Noah. (she is so cool!) He is amazingly adorable, and as soon as we can afford to have the film developed, there will be pictures posted, I swear!

I've been working on a corporate web site for a scientific company. If anyone is interested, check out www.infotrieve.com to see what it is that I do for a living.

I've resisted posting a lot of things lately, well, because I didn't want to rant about the Schaivo thing, or the passing of John Paul, or the new pope, or the war, or the offshoring trend that is hitting the computer industry... but maybe, just maybe I'll rant a bit in the future so that there is at least SOMETHING posted... ;)

Lame conversation starter (um, how 'bout that weather)

Hi there.

If I'm going to keep this up, I suppose that I should post - it's been a while. I added a new feature to the page - there is now current Colorado Springs weather in the sidebar. Well, sort of. As I type this, the banner says "Light Rain". It's actually snowing pretty hard outside - really wet sticky nasty stuff, too.

So, if you see the weather thingy (and care to have to think about it) - take their forecast and add some worse weather in your mind and your new mental picture of the weather will be about right.

Noah on a horse...

Here is Cherry and Noah at a birthday party. It was at the Turkey Creek Ranch, which is part of the Fort Carson Army facilities. Noah got to ride the horse, and Cherry and I got to walk the horse around a track. Yes, he has some blinders on. Yes, he was a bit stubborn. But - yes it was fun. Posted by Hello
